Each time I photograph a family, I wonder what their lives are like when they’re not camera ready. Do they struggle to get the laundry done? What kind of sports are their kids into? What song does she sing to her babies when they’re falling asleep? I can’t help but be curious about each of these beautiful faces I see from behind my camera. I wonder if they’re making it count? Will they look back at these photos and remember this time in their lives fondly? I sure do hope so! I hope that we all can stop to remember to make the days count, to make right now the kind of life we’ve always wanted to have. Let’s not wait for the future, let’s make today count!
