You know what is special? When you start working with a client before they have a wedding date set or venue in mind. Did I know Lynda before? Nope. She found me on a quest for a photographer and after emailing back and forth we bonded. I found our correspondence to be much like a girlfriend asking for advice and I truly enjoyed when I saw her emails come in. We met for the first time at her rehearsal dinner on the eve of her wedding day – at a backyard clambake. It was a nice way to ease into the next day. She and Rob had an intimate wedding day planned with about 30 guests. Their wedding may have been small in numbers but large in love and fun. Beach balls were thrown in the air after their “I dos” where they incorporated a beautiful sand ceremony. All guests enjoyed a trolley tour of Chatham – Main Street (The Squire of course), Lilly Pulitzer shop (where the bride’s dress was from), Lighthouse Beach, the Fish Pier and they ended at the beautiful Wequassett Inn for dinner, drinks and personalized sailboat rides. Fun fact – Elin Hilderbrand was at the Wequassett Inn that day signing her new book and the bride just happened to pickup Beautiful Day, Elin’s wedding themed beach read for her pre/post wedding downtime.
